assalamulaikum......
i went back home for midsem break... and this was the last time i saw my dear grandma...she has been sick for 4 years and 4 days.. We all accept the fate that she's no more..
I still remember the day before she fall sick. I mean before she 4 years n 4 days stroke. She had lunch with my siblings asking questions where are the rest because my aunty went out, my parents too so she had been wondering and kept asking questions. She kindda talkative and funny.. She loved singing but all remains in my memory...
My mom side is known for the 'garangness'.. they love nagging but my grandma was completely opposite to that.. She was a nice lady...One thing i can't forget about her is her concern to the grandchildren. If my cousin or siblings scored all A's in exam she will cry spontaneously not because she feels sad but she feels very8 happy....
Before she became paralyzed, she already used wheelchair wherever she go. And me and my siblings we used to keep an eye of her and help her in anything...Even though she cannot sit for a long period, she still insisted to do house chores like folding my tokki's baju and sometimes even tokki's shirt got torn, she wanted to sew as if no one in the house can sew... We do not want her to sew because she can get dizzy easily and malay people always say pitam. So, you all know that she is a very3 nice grandma to all of us...
The day i went back home she looked weak.. She seldomly open her eyes even i called her. She used to call me 'cik putih' so i won't be hearing my grandma calling me anymore. On friday night, my aunties, my mom, ngah, big sis and i recited the Quran for her..
She left us on Saturday on 30th January 2010 at 10.30pm. Then, my aunties that were in the house called the rest and told the news.. I only slept for an hour.. I recited the Quran continously and later passed to my uncles and aunties to continue.
My tokki can accept that she's no longer alive...I know he feels sad. We all do but we have to be strong. Early morning, many neighbours and families for far came to give their last respect, Everything went well. Tok's burial was done before zohor prayer and alhamdulillah most of the family members were around...
Thanks tok for being such a nice grandma to us..
